And the truth is…I LOVE THIS PART.
Creative problem-solving applies to all aspects art direction including process, internal resources and documentation, streamlined file-share, technology implementation, you name it. If it impacts the effectiveness of my work, my team’s work, or how we collaborate with partners…it’s within my scope.
As part of an internal creative re-organization, I created a playbook to optimize our omni-photoshoots and maximize image usage across all channels. The resource is owned by cross-functionally created by marketing, merchant and creative for shot list alignment and critical to production to anticipate inventory and budget needs.
I created and implemented a brand-wide folder organization and filename structure to optimize efficiency across all creative teams.
I created an internal shot list documentation resource including cross-functional brief (pg. 1), art direction/inspiration/styling/dimensions (populated on pg.2), and key (pg. 3). This resource is utilized by all brand Creative and Art Directors.
